Never heard of it!?
That was my first reaction when I held a sample of it in my hands. However, I didn't expect much, considering the reviews given here. So here we go… right from the first spray, a scent unfolds that cannot be compared to any other. At least none that I know. A fresh and only slightly sharp bergamot combined with a sprinkle of pink pepper and a dash of ginger is immediately perceived by the olfactory sense. The next stage immediately follows with a combination of cardamom, light carrot, and a dominant cinnamon. The association with cake or fine pastries comes to mind. In the drydown, a large portion of cedarwood joins in. However, I can't perceive patchouli and ambroxan at all; they must be present in very small doses. Iso E Super is also not noticeable in large dosages, but the benzoin is, and it gives the whole fragrance a certain sweetness that doesn’t come off as overdone. The light sandalwood rounds off the scent in the end. All in all, a lightly sweet cedarwood pastry with a strong cinnamon note, if that were to exist. For my taste, a bit too much cinnamon.
