Turkish Coffee or Vanilla Amber?
Rich and resinous, at times I get Turkish Coffee, other times, burning charcoal, then it's amber drenched in vanilla with frankincense burning nearby. Every now and then a stark, herbal greenness pulls through, flying by on wings of leather. It's smoky yet sticky and warm. Such a delight in how it moves and plays on my...

Walking in a moonlit snowy forest
This, to me, is a walk through a winter forest, the snow glistening with the moonlight shining through the bare branches of the trees. This opens very camphorous on me, the cypress very medicinal and cold, the pine sappy and sticky. I find this absolutely magnificent. It's the scent of crisp snow on broken arborvitae b...

A pleasant day in Fynbos
This is such wonderful fragrance and it swings back and forth from moody and stem to bright and happy. On my skin, it starts as a bright citrus dusted with warm cardamom and hints of deeply steeped black tea. As it days down a soft, worn leather note becomes prominent as the tea starts to infuse the leather. Then some...

This is a trip through an exotic herb and spice store. On my skin, the basil is prominent - green, spicy, medicinal, metallic; then there's a plethora of citrus zest - some sweet, some tart, yellow orange and green; Sichuan pepper and ginger for a spicy Eastern zing; and in the background a vase of daffodils which have...

Glorious Gasoline
Let me start out by saying that I used to own the EdP of this and remember really liking it, but not enough to keep, so I swapped with a friend. I found the Eau Fraîche and decided to buy it (Also König). They've been sitting in my perfume closet for a year, untouched. I had forgotten how much I love this perfume! On m...

Chocolate Covered Strawberries
On my skin this is delectable ripe strawberries dipped in rich dark chocolate and sprinkled with sea salt, followed by a sip of Veuve Clicquot, and a fig and vanilla compote. Someone close by just like lit a pipe and the fragrance of pipe tobacco wafts over. It's dessert foreplay. Absolutely divine!
