From another era...
An extremely fragrant, prominent and classy floral! I have tried the vintage version, and I must say this is what real perfume should smell like! In fact, my father once made very pure perfume out of fresh rose petals and the finished product looks and smells exactly the same as the vintage version of this! Very old sc...

Refreshing and carefree...
This is a fragrance which I can wear very easily. It's very laid back and carefree. It does smell similar to a lot of men's fragrances out there, but in it's own way it does the job really well for the price. I get lavender, vetiver and mint, but along with a very "mossy" vibe. I also get ozonic, slightly calone vibe....

Steady Amber...
As soon as I smelled this, it immediately reminded me of Ambre Sultan by Serge Lutens, but only in the opening. It consists of a linear, true-to-form amber which stays throughout. I think it is a fantastic value for money fragrance. If you want a fragrance which smells like straight amber, with no extra surprises... ch...

A "Sport" fragrance like no other...
This is a wonderfully fresh, alternate take on the original Habit Rouge. I certainly like it! Whereas the original had a lot of leather and quite a lot of vanilla, this still keeps the rose and vanilla, but adds jasmine, bitter orange and bamboo. All of which give it a fresh and altogether different take on the origina...

A perfectly balanced, delicate vanillic floral...
I really love this one. It's a wonderful fragrance which shows a very different and transparent side from Amouage. Usually the house is famous for it's heavy laden, seductive and decadent oriental spices, with emphasis on frankincense and resinous woods. This one is different. Sunshine Woman is a beautifully soft, eleg...

Warm, spicy floral
Ambre Nue is a floral spicy one for sure! In the opening I get a very real fresh Mandarin and floral Marigold... it's a very authentic orange fruity note, and it hit's you straight away. I would describe this as a very warm scent. It certainly has a warmth to it and a spiciness which is really pleasant and uplifting (h...

Sweet & Sour Bergamot... the best there is?
Well, I haven't tried a fragrance that focused unashamedly on the Bergamot note before. Bergamot is such a workhorse note which helps so many fragrances (for example every chypre has to have bergamot). In fact, some of the most classic fragrances out there would not exist without Bergmot, so it is a seminal note in per...

Invigorating!
An extremely zesty fragrance that is a joy to wear in hot weather and a real winner all round. One which is full of citrus burst in a very authentic and pleasing way. Phenomenal in it's freshness and light, effervescent quality. I find this an extremely easy fragrance to wear. It's like a burst of lemon, lime or grapef...

Good for the money...
I do think this fragrance is good value for money. I love the fact that it is a fresh, soapy scent from an Arabian house, which otherwise has heavy compositions. I get a very clean, fresh and soapy vibe with lavender, white musk, a hint of vetiver and oakmoss. I would almost call it a musky floral fragrance or a very l...

Rose, Oud & Saffron...
This is a fragrance which tries to display the oud note in a subtler kind of way more akin to western perfumery. The oud note is subdued and is underlying at the base. The saffron and other spices combined make this fragrance very pleasant and I really can't see how this would offend anyone. It's well blended in my opi...

Manly Spice...
This is one I like quite a bit. It's a variation on Estee Lauder - Cinnabar, which is a spicy oriental floral, and a contemporary or YSL - Opium. This is the male version of those fragrances. It is rumoured that Estee Lauder herself created this fragrance for her husband Joseph H. Lauder, hence the fragrance name JHL. T...
