Licore myriad
I get more licorice than myrrh from this, but I love it! It's a very interesting take on licorice that is quite sweet, but not really gourmand. The myrrh stops it from fully going there, it adds a medicinal, borderline plasticy layer on top of the other notes, which sounds weird but really elevates the scent. In the op...

I wish I really loved this little moon...
I'm kind of obsessed with moon shaped items, so I really wanted to love Deep Night and add that cute bottle to my collection. But in the end I decided against it. There are lot of things I love about this: The fuzzy peach note, which is slightly similar to good old Burberry Woman (but not identical), the warm vanilla b...

Bubblegum white floral with tropical fruits
I don't know if this is supposed to be a dupe for something, but it works much better for me than most of the very sweet white florals on the western designer market. I'm not a huge fan of L'Interdit, My Way, Voce Viva and all their cousins, the combination of white flowers with lots of sugar often feels cloying to me....

Libre's floral bubblegum sister
This could be a flanker for YSL Libre. It doesn't smell exactly like the original, and not like the Intense version either, but like a sweeter and more floral, nectar-like version of them. This has the signature accord of orange flower, lavender and citrus that makes Libre so recognizable and always feels a little andr...

But where is the almond blossom?
This has such a misleading name and packaging. The perfume neither smells like almond blossoms, nor does it remind me in any way of the Van Gogh painting. In fact it's not even particularly floral. Or almondy. It's a sweet, fruity scent with a harsh undertone that makes me think of men's shower gel. Nothing in the note...

Coconut, banana and some surprises
This is a quirky coconut scent. It smells so much like ripe bananas, which must come from the ylang ylang, and also very creamy and woodsy. The sweetness of vanilla, whipped cream and coconut is obvious, but there are also notes that made me think of milky sandalwood and cedar when I first tried it. Maybe the mix of cy...

Nights full of flowers...
This is one of those scents where the drydown doesn't fulfill the promises made by the opening. In the very first moments I can smell the cinnamon, the spiciness, the balsamic warmth and, of course, the orange blossom. But only the latter is here to stay. Nuit d'Egypte is a very floral scent, much closer to Nomade Natu...

Vanilla, hidden beneath leaves
This is the greenest take on vanilla I have ever smelled! I find it very fitting for the name, concept and bottle colors. The opening is such a blast of fresh, bitter greens that they really do act as a camouflage for the vanilla. It's hidden in young green leaves and plant juice. Honestly, this part of the fragrance i...

Celine's powder fluff in green
Like all Celine fragrances I tried so far, Dans Paris is very powdery, fluffy and soft. It's mainly a vanilla scent, in my opinion the vanilla is similar to that in Black Tie. The musk in this is light and clean, and I think there must be some unlisted iris that is responsible for the cool, dry texture of the scent. Al...
