A truly harmonious scent.

I feel as though each note here does exactly what it should - there's no overpowering anywhere. I just go weak in the knees for that dark & spicy patchouli! Ugh, and that plum is just mouth-watering! It's self-described as 'edgy', but I'm not sure I agree with that. Though it's an undeniably dark, mysterious 'noir'-typ...

Another great Avon gem.

Haiku is quite a nostalgic scent for me. It's not the type of perfume I'd typically go for now, but I still appreciate its fresh & citrusy goodness. Haiku is an uplifting scent, you can't help but smile when you smell it. Great for spring and summer wear, with very realistic & green-smelling white florals, perfectly co...

Thick and almost indolic, rather than sweet

Encore smells nothing like I expected. I thought it would be a light & sweet white floral. While it is pretty 'dark', it's also very reminiscent of perfumes much older than the 1990s. It's got a very similar vibe to Estee, and sort of reminds me of... Incognito by Dana. Though, despite the throwback qualities, I'd say...

I think my entire impression of this perfume is sideways!

This is a strange one for me - it smells so much like a clean, fresh, dewy pine tree after a good rain. I think the woody notes mixed with the peach and wormwood are what's causing this, but man.. it's delightful. And perhaps because of pine association, I feel it's most appropriate in winter (or perhaps even spring, w...

Underwhelming.

I got a bottle of Muguet des Bois in a lot of vintage Coty fragrances. I didn't know anything about it, just took the cap off of the bottle and took a small whiff. WHEW! It smelled exactly like, well... beer. I put a little bit on my hand and waited for the alcoholic fumes to fade. Has it gone bad, maybe? To be honest,...

Not at all what I expected!

This is so much more interesting than I was expecting! I love those vinyl/leathery notes, and this is what really gives it its appeal. The rose, cherry and patchouli come together and give it a dirty and delightful sort of smokiness. I kept on seeing commercials and ads all over the place so I figured I'd try it just t...

All around very natural & comforting scent.

If the sound of softly blowing wind chimes could be bottled, this would be it. Aldehydes and floral notes dance together perfectly in its initial feminine, soapy opening. Once that wanes, woods and spices start shining through, as well as a syrupy sweet stickiness. After about an hour, I could faintly detect the fruity...

Gentle, warm, & shy

A very soft, gentle and sweet ambery scent. Has definite green qualities, but is a little more on the warm side. Sticks rather close to the skin (as has been my experience with 06130's). Perfectly unisex, but I'd say it has a little more of a feminine vibe to it.
