Deep Orange forever
Incredible, no comment here on one of my all-time favorite classics? Just found again, a late 50ml bottle in good unopened condition (see picture in my photo album or hopefully soon released here as well). As is often the case with fanatical admiration and blind love, I can’t imagine for the best of me that anyone coul...

Healing Through Cuddling
Anyone who initially thinks of Marvin Gaye when hearing "Sexual Healing" is not entirely wrong here - Mark Buxton positions this fragrance of the same name as "a pure balance of a sexual exchange." Wow... ;-) The architectural structure of this fragrance is quite interesting, although it is somewhat "top-heavy" in desi...

*gulp* No Rose!
Grossmith, founded in 1835, is one of the venerable English houses that has become immortal through fragrances like "Hasu-no-Hana" (1888), "Phul-Nana" (1891), and "Shem-el-Nessim" (1906). "Immortal," however, is more in the appreciation of perfume enthusiasts who love classic scents, rather than in a financial sense -...

Absinthe? Absurd.
As Apicius has already made clear, this is a vetiver scent. That seems to be all that needs to be said. Yes, it is indeed quite masterful in combination with jasmine, etc., but for my taste, it feels very theoretical, top-heavy, and far-fetched. ExOmega's image of vetiver tea in a wooden cup is truly strikingly accurat...

Winner Number Five
I have liked Olfactive Studio so far; I own and appreciate the house and its concept, as well as the fragrances that have been released until now. How does the newcomer, the fifth fragrance from this house founded in 2011, perform? "Flash Back" opens with a very beautiful, round, harmonious, dense note of rhubarb, grap...

Scruffy-floral Mastic Shrub
For many scents here on Parfumo, I find it unnecessary to write a comment myself - I agree with the presentation and assessment of the commenter, recognize the essential characteristics, all good. This is not the case with "Lentisque"; I perceive this scent quite differently. The name refers, as Louce rightly points ou...
