A perfume which deserves the title "UNIQUE" (meaning only-one-of-its-kind)!

Indeed, Stradivari by the House of Matchabelli is a timeless classic in perfumery. It's impossible realistically to compare it with any other fragrance, for it has such distinction, with powerful and subtle aromas in a masterful recipe. It has a wide floral opening with subtle citrus support which soon allows the woody...

Ladies at an airport perfume counter asked me what I was wearing!

Sounds unbelievable, but it's true. I was looking at perfumes at a Heathrow, London perfume shop some years back when two ladies behind the counter commented on how lovely I smelled, and asked me what I was wearing! Yes, it was L'Eau d'Issey -- the ladies' perfume, not the men's. I wore this as my signature cologne for...

I'm FOR Versus! A happy fruity floral with musky undertone, a fine fragrance for sure!

Versace is, for me, one the top fashion houses; to this day I mourn the tragic death of Gianni. I love the way Versace designs often go over-the-top. In the case of this Versace perfume, however, there's no excess, no extreme, nothing needs reining in, nothing is overdone, for Versus is a lovely, fresh, happy scent tha...

An average Arabian scent... nothing in particular to distinguish it except very low price!

The extremely low price must be kept in mind. For the 35ml bottle, I paid less than equivalent US$6 (six bucks) including inland UK postage. That's a bargain. The perfume itself is average, nothing outstanding, nothing of special note. It has flowery and spicy notes and some powdery aspects, but that's it.

A lovely, sweet, flowery Oriental delight !

Nebras, from the Al Rehab stable, comes on strong, with a heady blast of florals, featuring roses, roses, roses and an underlying hint of lemon. The soothing Sandalwood tone (probably Santalum Album) soon emerges, combining with the Agarwood (Oud) and Jasmine to create a magical mix of fragrances. Nebras is a real Orie...

Some interesting complexity here ... and at a bargain price under $5 for the 50ml bottle !

This is definitely a solid buy. Dalal is quite delightful, with a soft fruity and mildy gourmand opening, thanks to the caramel and vanilla. I think this stands up well against some scents priced at five or six times its cost. A fresh edp with complexity, including subtle floral tones, through sweet, fruity notes, endi...

Steel, citrus, moss and musk ~~ a very inexpensive, wonderful find !

Here's a perfume that hits you right away, though not harshly. It has a steely, metal tone to it, with citrus tones at the front, followed by lovely, smooth woody fragrances, and a musky, dusky, mossy finish. I really like this one from the Al Rehab stable. At just over US$5 for the 35ml bottle, it is, to use a word, c...
