wonderful, unexpected, lovely fragrance

Dahaab Saafi is a wonderful, unexpected, excellent fragrance; as has been written is dense, sweet, I feel caramel, coffee and some cleanand soft rose petals, over caramelized and sprinkled vanilla. I like it a lot, in the opening phase I feel the coffee note, similar to a latte macchiato, then all the lovely blend.

So good can be cheap?

I discovered Dahaab Saafi - like many other fragrances - on TikTok. When I saw the price, the next level would have been almost "a gift." Additionally, the association with Intense Cafe was listed, so I didn't even think for a second and the fragrance was on its way to me. Since even some drugstore scents are more expensive than this, I was initially skeptical about how close we could get to the niche fragrance quality of Montale, but Dahaab Saafi actually delivered: the scent is immediately present upon spraying. No alcohol in the opening (like, for example, in Rose Gourmand Women) and I would say about 90-95% original scent DNA. If you love very sweet gourmands, floral fragrances, musk with a slightly powdery progression, and warm but simultaneously very feminine perfumes, then you have an EXTREMELY good alternative to Montale here for an almost ridiculous price. I find it clearly feminine. The longevity is, of course, not like the original - on my skin, it still lasts a good 6 hours, and on clothing, it easily lasts the whole day. But again: for the money, a little re-spraying really doesn't hurt :) Conclusion: TOP fragrance! I love :) Updated on 01/27/2024

Exclusive, unique and different? No. Good? Undoubtedly!

A well-charged rose note, but with a lot of delicacy and softness around an extremely clean, soft and comfortable musk. It leans more towards the feminine side, I expected to find a coffee aroma (this is because it is so compared to Intense Café by Montale), I knew it would be little from the reviews I've seen, but unfortunately I didn't feel anything. What I felt (compared to Montale) was a sugary vanilla with light touches of coffee, but light even to the point of barely feeling the aroma, the coffee here just made it more gorumand, a supporting note that barely appears and that by the advertisement should being the protagonist (I understand that it is not, after all it is similar, not an assumed clone). From my experience with it, it projects very well (it reaches the other side of the room easily) and has an incredible longevity (at least 8h, and if we take the price into account...). It's dense! Great for women who like a gourmand perfume at the height of delicacy. Great for men who like to challenge social stereotypes, because after all, perfumes are worn by people and not by genders!

Roses Lemon's Sweetness And Tenderness

Dahaab Saafi is part of the trilogy of perfumes that Afnan created with the brand Bait Al Bakhoor. I recently added it to my collection, together with Yaa Gaali, and now after wearing it for an entire evening and day, having received a series of compliments, I want to tell you what sensations it gives me. From the first notes, the oriental gourmand genre is perceived as a powdery rose wrapped in gentle, vanilla and musky puffs. It is a sophisticated version of a rose and vanilla perfume, with special thanks to the unusual olfactory pyramid. Many compare it to Intense Cafe, but it could resemble other fragrances based on rose, vanilla, and white musk. I could list all the perfumes I have that recall Dahaab Saafi, for example, Roses Musk Eau de Parfum, Roses Vanille Eau de Parfum, Rose Gourmand Women, or Maison Royale - Plaisir Café. Dahaab Saafi announces itself with dense, sweetish accords; the rose petals are clean, sharp, powdery, caramelized and sprinkled with pulverized vanilla. I like to think of rose-flavoured jelly desserts. Lokum, known in Europe as Turkish delight, are gelatinous sweets typical of Turkish cuisine based on corn starch and sugar, flavoured with rose water or other perfumed flavourings, and covered with icing sugar. In this opening phase, I do not feel the coffee note, even if there is a slight nuance of something more similar to a cappuccino or latte macchiato. In the next phase, the perfume takes on a powdery tone. I feel creamy wood notes combined with clean notes of white musk. There is no trace of animal notes; the musk is vegetal, candid, of the kind encountered in the perfumes of Musk Eau de Toilette. Now the sharp floral and sweet component has moved to the background. The essence I breathe is a musky, powdery rose, creamy, attractive, and addictive. It’s not enough to hear it rise from my clothes and neck. I keep bringing my nose closer to my wrists and always want more. After a few hours, the perfume fades away on mainly floral accords, tending towards the sensual. Now the scent of vanilla pods is intense and heady, but thanks to slightly earthy roses and creamy musk, the scent never takes on the sentimental aspects of a pastry dessert. On the contrary, a salty aspect is also perceived as if there was ambergris or, more likely, ambroxan. The creamy facet has hints of lemon, a bit like the characteristic aroma of magnolia with its fleshy, thick, and lemony petals. I am surprised by how the aroma of lemon intensifies more and more, present here in the final, persistent and non-volatile phase. Dahaab Saafi takes inspiration from Intense Cafe while remaining a different perfume with more sweetness and creaminess. As I wrote in the opening, there is a glimmer of something based on coffee, but it is not the dominant theme of this fragrance. It is a well-made perfume with excellent quality compared to its price, and not at all cheesy or synthetic. It is suitable for a cold climate, during autumn and winter days and evenings, although I also like to wear it in early spring. Compared to Yaa Gaali, this one performs very well, with projection and duration that are average or even better. I'm basing my opinion on a bottle I've owned since March 2023. -Elysium Updated on 04/02/2023

I'm glad I discovered this scent

Probably one of the best value you can get out of a fragrance. Nice performances, really nice smell and all that for 8 BUCKS. One of the cheapest thing you can get yet smells THAT good. I'd say this leans feminine but easily wearable by confident men. The only downsides are : The bottle is pretty badly designed, the cap removes itself very easily and it smells a bit like alcohol in the first minute but other than that it's PERFECT. One of my signature scent. Value for money 10000/10 Updated on 04/12/2026
