Cheap, but still Yum

Out of the endless YBM dupes that have exploded into the perfume world in the past year, this is surprisingly the first one I've tried. Note, I have not tried YBM, but based on the notes, this is obviously another that has hopped onto the strawberry-marshmallow train (especially along with the fact that Choco Musk Pistachio Concentrated Perfume came out with it.. cough cough YPG), but with the Choco Musk spin. Just a thought, I don't really care about everyone doing this DNA, nor about finding the "perfect" YBM dupe, I just enjoy these notes and could afford to grab this. Second note, I have not tried the original Choco Musk. I always hear about it being pretty good, but I don't particularly want to smell like chocolate, and this sounded way more up my alley. Again, not here to compare since I haven't tried it. Just giving context here. Anyways.. This is pretty good. Nice strawberry marshmallow scent, very sweet, honestly not too synthetic to me. It smells very familiar and I can't put my finger on it (ETA- I figured it out- the marshmallow note is reminiscent of Lucky Charms marshmallow pieces). Strawberry is stronger right out the gate and it's settling down to be more vanilla-marshmallow forward with the hint of strawberry, and the coco and amber are chilling in the background. I get nothing overly "synthetic" "cheap" or "screechy" out of it. Also, smelling the applicator itself, I get a very very slight citrus note, but that is gone on the skin- I believe this settling on to skin is what makes the strawberry note come forward. But, I'd definitely recommend it for being 5 dollars. Will update about longevity and drydown after it's been a few hours, as I literally just put it on. Update: Marshmallow coco scent stays reaching my nose from this being on my inner arms. Stays quite sweet, losing the fresh fruityness and becoming very fluffy and creamy. This is when I realized the similarity with Lucky Charms. Final update: I believe it has reached its furthest drydown, only after about 3 hours, but I applied it very lightly. The final state of this is a very clean, sweet skin scent. A weird thought I keep having- I keep thinking of carpets when I smell it in this state. Like a very clean, fresh, warm, fuzzy carpet. That is sweet for some reason. I can't really explain why, but it just makes me think of laying on the floor at a friend's house when I was a kid.. odd scent memory moment there, and I can't imagine how someone's carpet would smell like this, but that's what it's doing to my brain. But my final opinion is that I do love this scent. Updated on 01/07/2026

Bright and creamy to cozy creamy

I adore this oil so much. I’ve had it a month so far and I almost wear it every day! Usually I apply under a perfume but even if I’m home I’ll just put some on to sniff for my own enjoyment. It opens with a bright creamy marshmallow smell that reminds me so much of Paris Corners Marshmallow Blush that I often pair them together! The decadent marshmallow and vanilla notes lingers the longest, and I don’t smell as much of the cocoa in this as the original but that’s not a complaint as they’re both truly delicious in their own (albeit similar) ways. I also sometimes use this as a base for a juicier/fruitier summer scents to make those last longer and have a bit more depth. I’ll be buying this until they stop selling it, baby.

marshmallow and filling on a sponch cookie

i dont really care for ybm, and i dont see this as a dupe of it at all, albeit its been awhile since ive smelled it. this nails the marshmallow angle perfectly. its a yummy scent, sugary, lightly fruity and sweet and fluffy and airy. its a little dreamy and theres a sparkliness to the sugar smell in it, it reminds me of smelling a bag of marshmallows and getting hits of soft sugar before getting ready to get another whiff of it because it vanished too fast. aside from that, this smells EXACTLY like sponch. those marshmallow cookies with a small amount of strawberry filling that they put on tres leches cakes sometimes (*´∀`) id guess the cocoa is giving me that slight cookie scent thats really selling sponch to me. as i said, its definitely not very ybm to me, it actually smells much closer to strawberry snowflakes from b&bw to me.
