Had This for almost 3 years; Bottle not even half empty

This is not a good clone of The 1 Million, its so symphteic to much smell that it allmost makes you puke. it's what i would imagine teenage sagging wannebe gangsters to wear, this will definitly scare off people. my own parents rejected this perfume flat out and sayed i could not wear that in public, littreally not a good perfume. it costs nothing but you get really something that a bit... rich. its a sort of cheap but you really dont want to be wearing this if you want to be taken serious by people. its not my thing but im sure other people like it. but i think its way to much smell and its not really a good one but it does the job if you are not a person that does not care what other people think. it smells like booze and there are better cheaper alternatives, just save up money or buy one good pefume that will last you like a year this is not my style. and if i dont use it up and have to question if i really want to use this in public and private, i dont really like thats the honest truth. if feels like the 90s and 00s try to fit inn attitute of smell with this around when you didnt know any better but cmon its the 20s there are better alteratives and people give you guides and to 10s everythere you go now and this isnt one of them. dont cheap out just buy the 1 million if you need the smell not this.

Less One Million

The One Million of the drugstore. But very much in common. La Rive Cash smells almost identical but costs 6.95 euros, even 4.99 euros on sale. Really spot cheap, but the scent can do it. Whether you despise the original is one thing, but it is not for nothing that it belongs to Paco Rabanne's bestsellers. Cash starts just as synthetic, becomes just as sweet, and ends the same way. But what surprised me, or rather shocked me, is the sillage and longevity. Guys, this spot cheap fragrance lasts on me 9+ hours with very good noticeable sillage. I mean, even Dolce & Gabbana can't achieve that, but a 5 euro fragrance can. So if you are a fan of One Million, you shouldn't hesitate to get La Rive Cash, as the original costs 10 times more, it simply isn't worth spending that much anymore.

Great for little money

I didn't have a million to spare for Christmas, but I found a successful fragrance that comes very, very close to One Million. Even more so than No. 1 from Lidl. Those without a trained nose won't smell the difference, which is evident in the slightly piercing note at the beginning. Once the piercing note is gone after 2 minutes, it continues on a high-quality path. Citrusy and with a hint of mint at the start. Then rose, cinnamon, and spices join in, of which I detected clove. No idea if there's actually clove in it, but I like clove in men's fragrances. This citrusy warm mix lasted quite a while. Then comes the harmonious finish with amber, woody notes, and well-perceptible patchouli. An all-around successful and mature fragrance that can easily compete with the big brother from PR. Also in terms of longevity. A high-quality fragrance doesn't always have to be expensive. The recipient was very pleased with it, and it was just a sort of joke gift.

Quite nice...

I dare to write my first comment here :) First of all, a few words about its "role model" - One Mi... (you know which one ;) ) I first got to smell the fragrance when I met my partner. Strangely enough, I had never noticed it in my surroundings before. (so it was a nice introduction to the scent :D ) However, I found the fragrance a bit too sweet, too delicate, too feminine for men. One thing led to another, and I became the owner of the aforementioned fragrance. At some point, the golden block said goodbye, and I needed a refill. I discovered that there is this dupe from La Rive and tested it the very same day at Rossi. Well... Finally, a few words about "Cash For Men" Right after spraying, I don't like it at all. It reminds me of a cheap, generic men's aftershave scent; slightly alcoholic, fruity-fresh. After about 10-15 minutes, it rounds off: the fruity notes become softer, the wood emphasizes the mandarin, and the rose makes it pleasantly soft. And at the latest after 30 minutes (the fragrance doesn't really develop much more) you only smell the base notes, amber, cinnamon, and the wood. I hardly perceive the patchouli (However, it could be that my nose is dulled from frequent patchouli use :D ) It lasts about 6 hours on my skin and on clothing until the next wash. For the price, absolutely fine, a clear recommendation if you like the scent. It's also a bit friendlier and less overwhelming than the golden bar... Update: a little tip; when you remove the sticker, it looks much more elegant and high-quality :D Updated on 12/15/2017

The Scent of Trying Too Hard

0 found helpful

I threw a 30ml bottle of this in my last order. The kind of blind buy you justify because it costs less than a coffee (3.5€/30ml). It's obvious what this fragrance is trying to be. It reaches that loud, sweet, one million DNA, and for a brief moment it almost gets there, but only almost. Personally, I'm not a big fan of 1 million, I always thought that the DNA smelled like loud weekend nights and too much effort, so my bias plays a role in this review. La rive Cash starts out with an initial burst of grapefruit and orange. It feels promising, but that illusion fades fast and the fragrance quickly settles down to a sweet mess of spices, cinnamon, amber and leather. It's not offensive nor unwearable, just unrefined. In the drydown it gives me that oddly specific impression, like sitting in an old car that's been overcompensated with a brand new air freshener. It's nostalgic but ultimately artificial. Performancewise I obviously didn't expect much, I went heavy on the trigger. 10-12 sprays on pulse points. The scent sticks around for about 4 hours before fading into nothing. Projection is fine for about an hour and a half. Overall? A mediocre fragrance. Like I said before it's not terrible, in fact, for someone who's just starting out it might even feel exciting. But for anything more than that, it's like taking a 50cc bike onto the highway. It moves, but you can't ignore the feeling that it doesn't quite belong there.
