Bring back ‘The Swan’!

I am almost certain, that 99% of the Parfumo members know ‘The Swan’… the first fragrance creation from Gloria Vanderbilt’s hands. The bottle is not necessarily beautiful, but iconic. The smell may not please all, but to many women back in the 80s it was a loved fragrance and it was worn often. Delicate and smooth, floral and gentle. Love for Love lacks both the charm and the uniqueness. The linear fragrance smells like a product designed to please everyone and therefore ends up being anonymous and indifferent. It has a little of everything. Sadly, this is what happened to the fragrance line of Gloria Vanderbilt. Bring back ‘The Swan’! Year 2, 100/365 Updated on 08/30/2025
