Phaedon is not necessarily known for creating shrill and highly potent fragrances, except for the honey bomb Tabac Rouge. Rather, it is about quiet companions that instill a touch of elegance in the wearer. Phaesus is the new fragrance from the house. A quiet companion for all seasons, it gently hugs the wearer. A scent that glides through warm sand on silent, velvety paws. The stars hang low in the dark blue sky. A hint of fruit makes the fragrance feel more relaxed and casual. Lychee and a bit of pineapple hazily tease the senses. Some wood at the deepest point then connects with the fruit. One might think it’s a bit cumbersome. Animalistic notes appear time and again. It seems as if the summer wind keeps slapping them against your ears. The combination takes some getting used to; however, the longer you wear it, the more you like it. You don’t often encounter such a combination. Lychee and animalism. In the heart, it flutters with a golden resinous quality, with a hint of the sea. I like it. On the chest, however, the fragrance doesn’t have too much power, even though it initially gives the impression that it could pick up speed. That is not the case.
