Well-Known Theme Executed Perfectly
I'm surprised that no one has written a detailed review about this Inspirato yet, so I'll take the lead. According to statements, it's not an unknown fragrance that completely flies under the radar, but it is somewhat niche and not many shops carry this brand. Behind Christian Provenzano is a perfumer who creates a lot for niche brands (including Sospiro) and is here with his "solo work." No year is specified, but the fragrance has been available since 2023. You encounter a familiar DNA that can roughly be found in Percival or in the cheap category with "Kaaf / كاف | Ahmed Al Maghribi." Thus, one can say: Absolute crowd-pleaser, but here with independent vibes that also show a bit of aquatic character. It roughly serves this shower gel DNA, but already in a luxurious way and is an absolutely great companion if you like it fresh. Do you need this if you already have Percival? No, but I like Inspirato a bit better. Even though I enjoy wearing Percival, this is a great alternative for me. The packaging and bottle are stunning for this brand, everything is a 10 out of 10! Even the sprayer is buttery smooth. The flip-top box is also an eye-catcher, where the beautiful green-golden bottle is embedded. The cap is also gorgeous with the green stones. The line is great, from which I also own Rocca & "Onda de Mar | Christian Provenzano." What can the fragrance named Inspirato do? A lot, especially accompany with a very fresh and charming character. As a niche fragrance, it’s not overly extravagant, but freshies have to do their job. There is hardly any price difference between Inspirato & Percival, neither in retail price nor online prices. You can get 100ml for under €200, with a retail price here of €289 (which is somewhat exaggerated for what the fragrance DNA offers). I like Provenzano's signature, as it feels loving and is usually a true performer. Here, a strong fresh note convinces that radiates excellently and makes the wearer appear well-groomed and fresh. There is a great mix of classic notes, modern shower gel, and also aquatic-green notes. From the very beginning, this mix of freshness & aquatic notes is in the foreground. The spiciness also provides interesting contrasts with coriander, cinnamon & cardamom, which harmonize well with the freshness. A classic combination of lavender & green, non-mossy moss is also present here. In the heart, the fresh-aquatic notes unfold from the start and last for several hours. Floral notes accompany only very lightly, so floral vibes don’t really come through. As the freshness fades a bit, the fragrance becomes significantly warmer with sweet tonka bean, clean, slightly creamy musk, amber, and also gentle woods like especially sandalwood. The mossy note fits perfectly into the aquatic freshness, which also has slight salty nuances. At the start, it somewhat feels like a fusion of Percival & Sedley, which I find really cool. Overall, a worry-free package if you like this type of fragrance. Performance is also top-notch as mentioned. You can get about 10 hours out of this, with the last hours naturally not being as strong. The first 5-6 hours, however, the fragrance radiates enormously, and even later, there’s always something coming through. Great for everyday wear and for the entire year. Due to the similarities to Percival, this unisex fragrance will appeal more to men, but it is not unwearable for women. In conclusion, I can say: For me, it's the better Percival, even though they are quite close to each other at certain points. It convinces if you are roughly the type who enjoys shower gel freshness. I really like the aquatic aspect here. It's worth it.
