Lattafa Yara Rosa just better

0 found helpful

Lattafa Yara is good but this one is better… The bottle, sillage, and longevity are better for me than with Yara… Love at first sniff! Anyone who loves Yara should not miss this fragrance. I find the bottle so beautiful. It looks very high-quality and luxurious. I am happy and have already ordered a backup. It reminds me a bit of Dior Poison Girl and Hypnotic Poison combined. Great scent and definitely a good price.

Call me Strawberry Latte

Yes, the parallels to Yara cannot be denied. However, Yara comes across as "louder" to me, less elegantly balanced, and less creamy. Zukhruf Pink impresses right from the first spray: the top notes come through clearly and harmoniously. After one to two hours, the scent develops into a delicious strawberry milkshake with fluffy whipped cream topping. Sweet, yet at the same time light and wearable. I like it, even though I'm not usually a big fan of food scents. On clothing and hair, Zukhruf Pink has held up well for a 10-hour workday. Even at home, I could still perceive a very slight creamy nuance with every movement. On the skin, the longevity is noticeably weaker. For anyone who likes Yara (or for those who feel that something is off with Yara - like I do ;)), Zukhruf Pink should be a relatively safe blind buy. Updated on 12/01/2025

A blend of vanilla gourmand and sensual orchid

0 found helpful

The sweet opening, blending vanilla gourmand with sensual orchid, immediately gives the fragrance a feeling of depth and a distinctly evening character. The sweetness is noticeable yet never overwhelming; instead, it wraps gently around the wearer in a soft, enveloping haze. As it settles, the composition maintains its warm, caressing sweetness close to the skin, creating an intimate aura that feels both comforting and elegant. On fabric, however, it reveals its staying power, lingering beautifully throughout the entire day and leaving a smooth, refined trail that subtly enhances your presence without dominating it.

Yara sibling

0 found helpful

I did a side-by-side test with Yara. Yara has a slight tartness in the top notes that becomes almost minty to my nose in the mid notes. Zukhruf Pink lacks this note. I also find Zukhruf Pink to have stronger sillage initially. When it comes to dry down, the two are virtually identical: Sweet, creamy, fruity, floral pink-ness! A safe blind buy for Yara lovers Updated on 10/09/2025

Is it worth it, considering the price point...?

I purchased this from the Polish retailer "Makeup." It took about two weeks to travel from Warsaw to Tokyo. Despite the chaotic Black Friday and year-end logistics season, it arrived surprisingly fast—likely via air mail. It cleared customs without a hitch. Since the site has some notoriously bad reviews (some even calling it a scam), I paid via PayPal and filmed the unboxing just in case. However, it arrived perfectly intact with plenty of cushioning material. Thank you, Makeup! It seems to be a hot item; it sold out within 24 hours of restock. The "better than Yara Eau de Parfum hype is definitely doing its work. My conclusion? To me, this feels more "high-end" than Yara. Below is my obsessive, "world-class" (haha) comparison between Yara and Zukruf Pink. Read on if you’re bored. Top: Let’s get this straight—this isn't "strawberry" at all. Most "strawberry" scents in perfumery aren't real; they're synthetic candy-like accords. If the bottle were mango-colored, people would probably say it smells like mango. It lacks the acidity or cloying nature of berry-type synthetic flavorings. (Sorry, I’m not hating; I just want to give an accurate review.) It’s a vague tropical fruit note—like marshmallows with soft orange color. Thankfully, there’s no loud Ambroxan or "department store musk" (the kind Dior or Burberry love, which gives me a massive headache). The pineapple vibe from Yara is toned down here. Compared to Pepe Jeans For Her, the synthetic musk is much more restrained. Pepe Jeans overdoes the musk to boost longevity, which makes it feel shrill. ※Side note: Zara’s Cocoa Sunset t is NOT a Yara dupe. I don’t know who started that comparison, but the quality and type of ingredients are completely different. It's like calling Japanese curry and Indian curry the same thing just because they’re both "curry." Middle: It remains a mellow, fruity marshmallow. I also detect some lactones, similar to a probiotic drink. However, perhaps because the synthetics haven't fully "settled" yet, there’s a slight bitterness or sharp edge that triggers a bit of a headache for me. Base: I’m relieved it doesn't end in that typical high-end department store Ambroxan base. This is the beauty of Middle Eastern perfumery—they often use precious woods for the base, which is much easier on my head and nose. The dry down isn't perfectly smooth yet, but if it's this wearable on day one, I don’t think it needs to sit for long. Ah... Maceration (lol): Well, I’ll give it a try and see. Comparison: Yara vs. Zukruf Pink Yara is more casual and approachable, like a body spray, reminiscent of Dove shampoo. Everyone loves the smell of Dove, right? It’s simple and linear. It’s great for anyone from teens to adults—if you get a good batch and it’s not a fake. Lattafa has become so viral that sophisticated fakes are everywhere, especially on AliExpress or eBay. In the Middle East, it's a budget brand; it’s not worth paying over $20 for. The price has only been inflated by Western social media hype. I saw Yara in Italy for triple its original price. In its home region, it's just "cheap local perfume." (Right, people in the Middle East?) Naturally, quality control is loose, and it seems OEM products are mixed in with the real deal, leading to inconsistent reviews. Lattafa has huge batch variations and seems to ship products immediately after production, making the quality unstable. (Reviews saying it’s "weak" are almost certainly talking about fakes, maybe.) It's less a "perfume house," more a "viral perfume factory." Interestingly, there’s zero hype for it in Japan. Zukruf Pink feels more like a "proper perfume." I suspect the oil concentration is higher. The best part? No fakes yet. It’s higher quality than Lattafa but cheaper, and since it hasn't gone viral yet, there’s no profit in faking it. That’s why I gambled on "Makeup" being legit. Some might still prefer Yara, but only if they manage to get a "good" batch. My Ranking: Zukruf Pink >> Yara >>>> Pepe Jeans For Her >>>> (Out of the question) Cocoa Sunset. Packaging: Beautiful. 100 points. The box is lovely too. (Though, to be honest, I don't really care about boxes or bottles.) Regarding working conditions in the Middle East: To be honest, the industry is so opaque that with my current knowledge, I can't tell if this represents a "fair" price. Because of this, I'm often left with a sense of guilt, wondering, "Is it ethically right to buy at this price?" It’s a conflict I still carry. Overall: I recommend this over Yara Pink because there are fewer fakes, the quality is more consistent, and the bottle is undeniably cute. Updated on 01/12/2026
