In the Roman Empire
Another one from Mauro Lorenzi. Another one with a Roman name. It starts off rather warm from the very beginning. Neroli is probably the disturbing element for me. It doesn’t feel typically suitable for summer. More like spring or autumn, when it’s gradually getting warmer or slowly cooler. The opening is still okay. The further the fragrance develops, the less I like it. Nothing special. The price also puts me off at almost 2Eur/Ml. It wouldn’t be a candidate for purchase. Now the vanilla is slowly coming to the forefront. And that’s exactly what makes it unsuitable for summer for me. Now it becomes sweeter. Sweet and heavy. Yikes, I just can’t become a direct fan of this scent. Balsamically sweet. Labdanum is what bothers me too much here. Recommendations from me. Always except in hot temperatures. For me, it’s rather feminine. Have fun smelling.
